In order to graduate, students need 24 credits, earned in certain subject areas: 4 English/Language Arts credits, 4 Mathematics credits, 4 Science credits, 4 Social Studies credits, 1 Health/P.E. credit, and 2 World Language credits. The remaining 5 credits are for electives and additional courses for pathways.
Students will need to complete at least one Graduation Pathway: Advanced Academic, Fine Arts, World Language, or CTAE.
Our current school schedule allows students to take 8 credits each school year – so, students actually have the opportunity to take 32 credits!
Students are required to complete at least 20 community service hours before their senior year.
Band students are often some of the brightest and multi-talented high-schoolers. Sometimes, students are concerned that they may not have room in their schedule for band. Band students can take AP classes, be in the specialty science program, and still manage to fit at least one band class in their schedule. Some students take 2, 3, or even 4 music classes! The band director would be happy to sit down with you and figure out a plan to help you fit band classes in your high school schedule.
